PALM COVE

sun & sand of Australia's north-east

Palm Cove is a stretch of beautiful beaches just north of Cairns. The city itself lacks from an easy access to water so one would think that the neighboring tropical paradise could be crowded. But it's not. Palm Cove somehow maintains an aura of a gem hidden only for the locals.

No matter whatever there actual purpose is, piers are mostly used by fishermen trying their luck with some rare species, which I don't know, because I‘m not really into fishing…

More hidden gems lay just behind the layers of green that separate the rainforest from sand and ocean. All you need to do is let your eyes loose from all the glamour of sun-lit beaches and enjoy the tranquility of a jungle.
